A wonderful example of this Dickens Christmas book that has been fully bound in green leather with gilt decoration to the front and back boards and with titling and more gilt decoration to the 6 compartment spine.  The leather boards are in Near Fine condition with only a very small mark to the front board and minor signs of wear to the back board.  A very presentable set of boards

 

There are 188 printed pages, all edge gilt, with two pages of advertisements to the front, Frontispiece, Illustrated Title Page, Tissue-Guard separating the Frontispiece and Illustrated Title Page, Title Page, and packed with 16 illustrations by J. Tenniel, C. Stanfield, F. Stone, and J. Leech

 

The pages are tightly bound in and in overall Very Good condition with slight marks to some pages

Page (v) the Illustrations page the full stop (period) is missing from the end of “Corbould” at the top of the page;
