This gorgeous suncatcher is made of translucent pale blue and royal blue coloured glass with 'wisps' of white in them and has a dash of turquoise glass on the wings. A stainless steel chain is attached so it is ready to hang.
Handcrafted by myself using a traditional technique from the 1800’s, individual pieces of coloured glass have been cut and ground to shape. The edge of each piece was then covered in copper foil and joined with a bead of solder. Silver coloured wire has been overlaid on the wings to add detail. The whole piece has been cleaned and polished to a shine.
Size: 18.5cm x 11cm
