This is an original, late nineteenth century print, which was originally published as an 'Extra Supplement' to the 'Illustrated London News.'

Title: "The Burning of Coomassie"
This was published in London, for the 'Illustrated London News' on August 20, 1881.
The overall size is approx, 585 x 415 mm.
There is a very faint vertical crease to the centre of the print, from where it was originally bound into an edition of the 'Illustrated London News.' There is a little browning and creasing to the edges and corners. These slight imperfections only affect the blank margins, so will not be visible once the print is framed.
Overall the image is crisp, clean and in good condition. This will look very good when mounted and framed.
