The village of Lom Cherkovna is located on the main road Biala –
Varna and 70km from the town of Rousse. The village, Lom Cherkovna,

The town of Ruse is located on the right bank of the Danube river, approx. 320 km north-east of Sofia, 200 km north-west of Varna and 100 km north-east of Veliko Turnovo. Ruse is an old Bulgarian town with traditions in culture, art and education and with very developed industry and trade. The greatest and the most important town on the Danube River, it is also known as “The Little Vienna”, because of its ancient architecture which dates back from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. There are 19 museums worth visiting, number of hotels and restaurants, cafes and clubs. Ruse is a town with rich history. In 19th century Ruse is considered the most European Bulgarian town with flourishing economy. The first Bulgarian newspaper, printed in Bulgaria was published there. In 1866 was completed the first railway road in Bulgaria - Ruse – Varna. The first navy school and the first weather service were established in this town. It was also a centre of the struggle for spiritual and national liberation. A lot of foreign and Bulgarian celebrated architects, arts and writers did their creative work there. Ruse is an ancient Bulgarian borough and a port on the Danube River.

is set about 50 km away from the city of Veliko Tarnovo and 50 km away
from its municipality in the town of Byala.

A unique and picturesque spot of our nature is situated in the Eastern
part of the Danubian hilly plain at about 10 km south of the town of Ruse –
this is the Nature Park of Rusenski Lom. The Park bears the name of the
Rusenski Lom River – the last right feeder of the Danube River. It has been
announced People’s park with an area of 22 267 decares by Ordinance
? 567 of February 26th 1970, published in Official gazette 30/14.04.1970,
situated along the valleys of the rivers of Mali, Cherni and Beli Lom, having
total length of 42 km. The Ordinance describes the boundaries as well as the
managing regime of the protected area; it also puts a number of terms
concerning the activities undertaken on the park’s territory.
Few minutes away from the noisy and hurried up town, the canyon
like river valley of the Rusenski Lom River has preserved unspoiled a
unique treasure-house of natural and cultural wealth. The picturesque and
varied karst relief that has been formed in the course of centuries by the
river waters is favourable environment, combining great variety of
plants and animal species. The contact with the beauty of nature and
spiritual heritage that reveals before one’s eyes in the rock monasteries,
promise unforgettable moments to the guests of the Park, along with the
possibilities for practicing bike riding, as well as speleo- and walking tourism,
