High up the hill from the river Danube, this house sits in a friendly wee village, where doors are left open (Really, its not one of those myths!) and where people can live without noisy louts rumbling about on the streets outside (Even in the cities of Bulgaria, the folks are a friendly bunch, with a lot of ettequitte).

Getting there!

Bucharest's TWO international airports provide the best way to get to this house, with two airports to choose from serving multiple UK destinations you are sure of a low fare any time of year. Bucharest is less than two hours from your home, a nice drive accross the border (EU!) from Romania then into the city of Rousse (You'll stay there whilst completing your company and meeting our Rousse team) and you're a short drive to your home.

Rousse has its own airport too, its not currently operating to international traffic, but tenders have closed for its new operator, we're not sure who that is yet, however we're sure within the next few years some action will be seen in the terminal, and in turn the low cost operators will start moving into this and Gorna Airport nr Veliko Turnovo as the larger airports are too costly now for them. Gorna Airport is looking to operate to passenger airlines right now.

This is an auction, meaning the winning bid is the price you pay for the property.
All property must be paid for within seven days of the auction closing, if you do not agree or are unable to pay for the property then please do not bid.
Payment is by direct IBAN to our Bulgarian account (Investment Link Bulgaria LTD). Failure to pay for the property within seven days will result in a second chance offer being given to the second highest bidder or the property being sold offline.
Legal action will and has in the past been taken against non paying bidders in order to recover the listing fees and resources we pay to advertise this property. No timewasters please. You have time to ask all your questions and inspect any documents before bidding.
We are proud to offer what is probably the fastest company formation service available today. You only need visit our office once for around half an hour, the rest of your time here can be spent enjoying your property or sightseeing in Veliko Turnovo, however you wish. You can even fly in and out on the same day now! Once your company is set up you are then free to buy as much land and as many houses in Bulgaria as you wish! Rousse is the biggest Bulgarian port town on the banks of the river Danube. After the opening of the Rhein - Main - Danube canal which covers 3,500 km and connects thirteen European countries with the Near and Far East via the Black Sea, the river becomes the longest inland waterway on the planet.
***DANUBE FLOODS!*** Yes its true, some villages along the Danube flooded some years ago. Please note the property has not been flooded ever and is very high up from the river.
Some people are scared to be near Europe's longest river but we dont see many in Vienna and Budapest (also on the Danube)worrying too much about the price of real estate when in fact the river view is in many cases the selling point!
Or how about Bratislava, see how much a house with a Danube river view costs there now compared to ten years ago when Slovakia's prices where like Bulgaria's!
