A bronze coin of Constantius II (337 - 361 AD) measuring 18 mm across.
The obverse shows the head of Constantius with the legend DN CONSTANTIVS PF AVG.
The reverse is a design is of a soldier spearing a fallen horseman. The surounding legend is FEL TEMP REPARATIO (Happy Times Restored).
Constantius was born in 317, the second son of Constantine the Great and was given the rank of Caesar in 324 at the age of seven. After his father's death he became emperor and ruled from 337 to 361 AD.
