An excellent "used" condition, 100% original, white metal, London Scottish Regiment cap badge. This badge is of a single piece construction and; measures 2" [5.1 cm] tall and 2.3/16" [5.6 cm] wide.  Being slightly domed, this badge can be accurately dated as being of WWI vintage as after this, it was replaced by a flatter version. 

This badge was worn by The London Scottish from 1908 until 1969 when they became G (The London Scottish) Coy, 1st Batt., 51st Highland Volunteers and their badge was replaced with the, "Crucified Moose" of The Highland Brigade.
