This item is a Britannia 3 Man Gun Crew for the 6 Pounder Anti Tank Gun

The 6 Pounder first saw service in North Africa in 1942 replacing the earlier 2 Pounder anti tank gun. 6 Pounders were supplied to Royal Artillery anti tank regiments of infantry and armoured divisions on the basis of 4 battaries with 12 guns each. By the later stages in the war as 6 Pounders were being replace by 17 Pounders in anti tank units they were then allocated as six gun anti tank platoons attached to infantry divisions.

 

Whether for wargaming or just for display this brand new kit is a beauty. Not to be missed.
