Advantages of 5^th (fifth) Operation over conventional caravans/motorhomes

1)     ROOMINEST INSIDE Unit is roomy inside. It has a slide out which increases the internal floor area and because the unit has a 5th wheel arrangement over the pickup bed, you instantly gain 7 extra feet without increasing the overall trailer length when you compare this unit to a large twin axle caravan.

2)      COST OF PURCHASE Our units compared to a tag axle motorhome tend to be bigger inside at a fraction of the cost

3)     BEDROOM A large double bed is assembled permanently at the from on the unit. This is great when you’ve been out all day, you’re tired and you just want to crash without re building everything.

4)     SETUP The unit is exceptionally quick to set up. You pick your spot, pull out the pins, take up the strain with electric front jacks, which make levelling so easy, drop the tailgate and drive the pick up away. Fresh, Grey and Black water tanks are all on board so you have no messing around. The unit also has a city water connection on the side so you can have mains running water all the time.

5)      TOWABILITY The unit is lightweight at only 2200Kg and can be pulled behind most UK pickups on a standard driving licence (only limitations are people who have passed recently). I have used these units for many years behind various Pickups’ so I can give you lots of advice. These include, Nissan Navara, Old and New Model, Ford Ranger and Dodge Ram to name a few

6)      VEHICLE TO USE WHEN YOU ARE AWAY don’t forget that with the fifth wheel arrangement you have a vehicle to go to the shops/beach, etc. unlike a motor home you have to take/tow your car. Another cost.

VERY IMPORTANT.Additional Information

This unit isn't to be mistaken for the usual large American units that are totally impractical in this country. At 2250Kg kerb weight it is well within the towing limits of most UK pickups.

Also at 7ft 6ins wide these units are quite legal behind a most UK pickups. Please be aware that most American style trailers manufactured are 8 feet wide and require commercial vehicles of 3.5 GVM to tow them.
