This is a new, fresh from the factory, Boyd's Crystal Art Glass mini glass insulator. It is a mini Hemi 42. It does have HEMINGRAY embossed on it although rather faintly. Please note that this is a modern day NEW piece and is NOT a vintage salesman sample. It is a copy of a Hemi 42 done in miniature. It does have little rounded nubbies on the bottom that look like the drip points. It does NOT however have threading up inside the dome. It  is done in a very light pink color glass that Boyd's is calling Coral. This color is  one of their newest releases for these little mini insulators.It measures about 1 inch tall  and about 3/4 inches wide across the base. When I hold this up to the light I can see various little lines in the glass on the inside. I can't tell if these are just lines in the glass from the molding process or if they are little internal cracks. Whichever they are I believe them to be from the manufacturing process. Also, the bottom edge of this one has a few little extra bumpies of glass along it but they are small. But then real full size insulators had their molding imperfections too. This is a cute little insulator that could be a nice little "go along" for your insulator collection or your Boyd's collection.(and yes, I DO collect insulators) Buy it now before it gets away!
