Up for auction is a set of two overprints, MNH. Released on April 25th, 2006 to meet the demand of the newly-introduced postal tariff, these two stamps were meant for local use – and not for stamp collectors. The Botswana Post never bothered to announce the release on the web-site of the Philatelic Bureau, and the issue escaped the attention of most collectors (and indeed the MICHEL catalogue, where they are not listed). Compare the catalogue listings of older overprint issues to see what this usually means for valuations later on ….
