Boosey & Hawkes Sovereign Bb Cornet

in immaculate silver plate.

The B&H Sovereign cornet of this era (as identified by the Globe stamp) was arguably the finest British style cornet in production - built at a time when Boosey & Hawkes were considered to be the finest manufacturer of brass band instruments.

The Globe stamped model is sought after by the finest cornetists and collectors - it being held in almost legendary esteem akin to the famed Conn trombones of the Elhart period.

As you can see from the photographs the cornet is in superb condition both mechanically and cosmetically - to find a globe stamped cornet in this condition is rare nowadays.

I am selling the instrument to fund the purchase of a new trumpet - I hate to see it go, someone will get to own this beautiful instrument.
