Book - Trabant. The Final Days of Production This new 84 page hardback book with English & German text was published in 2007 in Germany. During early 1991 photographer Martin Roemers visited the Trabant factory to shoot Trabant production. He captured the production process and made portraits of the workers. Shortly afterwards, in April 1991, production was halted. His images have quickly become photographic documents of the industrial culture of a bygone era. The book features 42 full page b/w photos. There are also 8 pages of English text, giving some history about the Trabant car. Overall this is an excellent book, which would make a valuable addition to the enthusiast's collection.
