This new 128 page softback with German text is produced like a "spotters-type" guide of Land Rover models from 1948-1998. The first 14 pages relate to general text and pictures. The rest of the book is presented in year order, showing one model for each 2 pages, with a photo & technical details. Models shown include Series I 80, 86, 107, 109; Series II 88 Softop, 109 Station wagon; Lightweight; Forward Control; Range Rover Series I; Series III 88, 109, 90/Defender, 110/Defender, 130/Defender; Discovery; Range Rover Series II; Freelander; Discovery II.

A further section looks at special versions - Minerva, Tempo, Santana, fire engines, 6x6, armoured versions, Range Rover pick-up, Range-Rover stretched-limousine. A very good pictorial history of Land Rover, including 47 colour photos plus a further 38 b/w.

Despite the German text, this book would make a useful addition to the enthusiast's collection.
