Book - Typen Kompass: Jaguar Personenwagen seit 1931

This new 128 page softback with German text is produced like a "spotters-type" guide of Jaguar cars from 1931-2004. The first 11 pages relate to general text and pictures. The rest of the book is presented in year order, showing one model per page, with a photo & technical details. Models shown include S.S, Mk V, XK 120/140/150, C-Type, D-Type, XK SS, Mark VII, Mark VIII, Mark IX, Mark X, 420 G, Mark I, Mark II, S-Type, E-Type, XJ, XJ-C, XJ-S, XK 8, XJ8, S-Type, X-Type. There is also a section on prototypes and Daimler versions.  

An excellent pictorial history of these cars, including 98 colour photos plus a further 34 b/w.

Despite the German text, this book would make a useful addition to the enthusiast's collection.
