Unfinished Project for Sale due to lack of time.
This boat was built in 1986; the hull design was ahead of its time, still superior to many of today’s hulls, excellent deep vee off shore, fast stable hull.
This boat has been stripped and all parts replaced where necessary, all the work and major structural work has been carried out by a professional boat builder to a very high standard. Has had a forward structural bulkhead fitted non standard to increased rigidity of the hull , new cockpit sole with access hatch and drains , and new curved rap around screens at considerable cost still in protective film .
This boat also has the additional rear sun deck fitted approx 7’ long perfect for the summer.
The hull was original built with a Kevlar layer for additional strength, is also in excellent condition
Only needing a polish to bring back to its former glory.
The interior is 75% complete to a high standard, gloss maple and cream finish.
The exterior is 50% complete.
Also supplied is 2 GM V8 diesels producing 190hp each which fit straight on to the original mercruiser engine beds and drive train, also has twin overhauled Alpha 1 stern drives.
This engine choice will give good performance, with the cost and reliability of a diesel.
Also supplied is 90% of the parts to complete to boat :- fridge ,microwave oven , sink ,hob , Sony cd player, lcd TV , calorifer, shower, new tanks , new gauges and instruments , spot light , log , echo sounder ,gps ,vhf , props , material , cable etc etc …
This boat has only had low hours on it from new, due to the extreme cost of the original petrol engines fitted, so generally still in good condition.
When finished this will probably be the best Bonito Falcon ever built, and a stunning looking boat a real head turner.
Reason for sale is I have to many work commitments at the moment ,and I can’t see myself getting back to it a year or so , which is a waste of a good boat , which needs to be used and loved .
The selling price doesn’t cover half the cost of the drive train, work carried out and materials, plus the cost of the hull. If you are seriously considering buying a power boat project or hull for fit out this could be just what you are looking for, with most of the major work done and at half the cost.
No time wasters, dreamers or tyrer kickers please, as if I had time I would finish it myself .Thank you...
Any questions email me or phone 07753767974
I have had a lot of emails requesting some more pictures , which i have finally done today and other questions. The most time consuming part of building a boat is sourcing the materials , as stated above i have sourced most of the bits at great expense and time . It is very difficult to show in pictures what has and hasn't been done , most of the cabin and cockpit has been made but not fitted ie table , doors , seat bases , instrument panels etc ... As for the engine room the out drives have been overhauled and are fitted , the GM V8 fit on the same engine beds as the original petrol engines so no modifying is need . These are basic diesel engine and very reliable , thus making them easy to use and fit , i have the bilge pumps ,engine feet , heatexchangers , pulleys , parts of the jabsco raw water pumps which easily be sourced , it needs 2 head tanks was going to use s/s landrover ones , also needs manifolds , i have sourced all the s/s and started making them ,but will require someone to finish them and weld them together ,not as hard as it sounds . The best job left on the boat is the upholsterer and carpeting to which i will supply most of it .
This boat does not have a trailer , its to big ! It should go on a flat bed lorry providing we can keep it low down as there is a height restriction .
If you are interested its probably easier to phone or come and have a look ...
Hope this answers some of the questions , sorry for the delay ...
