Bohemian Crystal Glass Door Knobs - A pair of black crystal glass knobs with a smooth brass rose.

These knobs are made by craftsmen in pure Bohemian crystal glass in the age-old traditional manner.

Bohemian crystal is recognised as one of the finest and purest types of crystal glass throughout the world. The manufacture of this type of crystal dates back to the renaissance period, around the 17^th century. Bohemian crystal was later widely used in the Victorian era for practical and aesthetic reasons. We believe our range of crystal doorknobs are among the best around and we currently sell them in five different colours – amber, black, blue, clear and green. We offer our doorknobs mounted in either a brass or nickel silver rose with a ribbed or smooth finish.

As with all of our products, the brass is not lacquered and would normally be left to age in the traditional manner allowing it to show its patina, as it would have in times gone by.

The knobs come complete with spindle and fixings. Suitable for mortise locks only. (i.e. they are suitable for use with any normal door, but not suitable for use with a rim lock or latch)
