Rare pair of Boehm porcelain Hunting Falcons Kestrels #492 pictured on Page 129 RPC-1081-01 The Porcelain Art of Edward Marshall Boehm by Reese Palley. They are in excellent condition. They were issued in 1968 with only 460 pairs made. The issue was closed in 1979 at a closing price of $2,300. The average agent's appraised value in 1984 was $3,000. This is a beautiful and very rare pair -- almost impossible to find at any price today. One is 16 inches tall, the other 14-1/4 inches. Widest width at base 7 inches. Boehm porcelain sculptures are featured in 137 museums worldwide, including the White House, the Vatican, the Smithsonian, and Buckingham Palace.
