Description
Rob Lake, a new recruit in a maternity unit begins to suspect his superior’s negligence and soon realises that it’s going to be tough getting his voice heard. Someone else had previously voiced concerns and rather than initiate a formal investigation into the department head’s practices, the whistle blower was cast out. When a perfectly healthy patient develops irreparable brain damage as a direct result of his boss’ incompetence, Rob will have to put his own neck on the line to bring the scandal to light.

Rob Lake (Max Beesley) joins the team in a city maternity unit as a cocky, idealistic young doctor, but within days he realises that his new boss, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Roger Hurley (Patrick Baladi) is bungling operations with alarming regularity. Rob is faced with the moral dilemma of whether to report Hurley's malpractice and challenge the most powerful institutions of medicine - or bite his tongue and place more patients at risk.
