This antique quilt came down in my mother's family from relatives that lived in Maryland I remember it on my bed as a child, and my mother told me she used it at her Grandmother's house, where she slept on a padded window seat. that would date it at 1925, and it's probably much older than that. It is approximately 68" x 78". It appears to be cotton. The quilt is machine pieced and hand quilted. It has lot of flaws, especially around the edges, but could be used on a twin sized bed if someone is willing to sew on some edging, or it could be made into something else. There are also a few tiny places in the middle of the quilt where the blue fabric has flaws. But on the plus side, it's wonderfully soft and ready to be treasured.
