Blue Zoo - Love Moves In Strange Ways (Magnet MAG205) 1981 

Originally called Modern Jazz and formed in 1980 by Andy O (vocals) and Tim Parry (guitar) with Mike Ansell (bass), Mickey sparrow (drums) with ex-Sore Throat Matthew Flowers (keyboards) and Pete Lancaster (trumpet). their first single was "In My Sleep (I Shoot Sheep) in 1980. This single, the wonderful, "Love Moves In Strange Ways" was as far as I know the second single in 1981 with the third single "I'm Your Man" in 1982 which narrowly missed the top fifty, the fourth single "Cry Boy Cry" became their biggest chart success at No.13. 1983 saw the release of the only album "2x2" with three singles from the album, "Love One's An Angel", "( I Just Can't) Forgive And Forget" and "Somewhere In The World There's A Cowboy Smiling". Although there was reasonable public interest and they managed to achieve in and around the top 100 they never really achieved the success that the label had hoped and the band split in 1985.

Condition: Record: Very near mint. I can't see a mark nor hear a blemish.  Label: Not a mark. Sleeve: Excellent. Some slight scuffing to the edges and very slight bending towards the top two corners and open edge.
