When you ordered your brand new Volkswagen in the late 1960s or 1970s, you would have been able to order a factory fitted Blaupunkt radio as an 'optional extra'. Browse through the owner's instruction manual for any post 1968 - mid 1970s aircooled VW and you will find a page listing the three models of VW radio available.

This particular radio is a WOLFSBURG III 12v model. It is in nice looking condition with the original chrome faceplate and VW Part number 111 035 101B stamped into the metal case. However, the radio does not work and needs repair. It also has a DIN socket on the rear so with the correct cable, you can connect your ipod and play your digital files through the radio, when repaired. The faceplate has a few small dings in the top right-hand edge, but other than that, it looks great!
