Review

Vol. 1: A recent string of murders is the talk of the town. Not that murder is anything unusual, but the twin killers are targeting Hotel Moscow! The delicate balance of power held by the mafia leaders crumbles as the sickening slaughter escalates into a full-blown war of attrition. No quarter is given and none asked for as Balalaika and her soldiers are forced to recall a time when their deadliest enemies were children.

Vol. 2: After encountering master counterfeiter Greenback Jane, the Black Lagoon crew are hired to protect her. The Black Lagoon has to pull every trick they know to get rid of all the bounty hunters after jane. Meanwhile, underworld figures prepare to meet, with Rock facing his past by acting as translator for Balalaika, who is making a move in the Japanese underworld!

Vol. 3: It's all coming to a head for the Black Lagoon crew! Balalaika enlists Rock's help to infiltrate the world of Japanese organised crime. Balalaika's dark background is revealed while Revy and Rock find they're becoming one hell of a team. The action doesn't let up with a mountain of bodies to be built as the crew make their play for the Japanese underworld and cross swords, guns, fists... and their own broken world views. The intense final battles of Black Lagoon cap off the smart, twistedly funny journey of heroic bloodshed.
