At realdealtools we give our customer's a choice when buying VersaPak batteries - Bulk or Retail Packaging. Bulk packaging is the same battery but without its retail packaging and red end cap.  The red end cap is not required for this battery to function.  It is there to protect a battery from hitting another in storage and transit.  Don't worry we wrap each bulk battery in its own plastic wrap to keep things safe and secure.  If you want the retail packaged battery or a different quantity, you can buy them here.

Black & Decker's VersaPak tools, everything from the ScumBuster to power screwdrivers, are boons to the busy person, saving both time and effort. The VersaPak line of tools all use this battery, and their main advantage is freedom from "memory," which keeps you from getting a full recharge. This Gold version battery lasts 60% longer as compared to the standard Silver batteries (VP100).  Black & Decker tells us that these batteries will take 300 charges, but we've heard of them lasting long past that.
