This is a very fine Original Linn Sondek LP12 plinth in black ash finish. 

It is serial number  81068 and features the substantial corner bracing that helps ensure plinth rigidity and improves sound quality. On the underside, it also features the mains/lingo cable securing strap which did not appear on earlier models (see picture).

Condition

This plinth is in very good condition, having been looked after very well indeed throughout its short life. The black finish has a wonderful lustre and grain and fits well with modern component finishes.  There are no significant marks. Where the lid closes  on the front corners there are (very) tiny spots which have been touched in in black. Overall, condition is very good indeed.

Note: This auction is for the plinth alone. The final picture is to show how good it can look when built up into a turntable. Other parts available on request.

Fitting

You may purchase this to replace an earlier plinth or one in poor condition or as part of the build up of a Linn Sondek. If the buyer wishes, we can offer a fitting service for £20. Ask for details of our Turntable shipping/collection service.

Cash on collection is fine, otherwise it will be well wrapped and packaged for safe delivery by post.
