artisans, particularly the works of Kazuko Otsuka, Fumiko Tanaka, Tsuneko
Shibuya, Yoko Tsuji, Sayoko Sakaguchi, and others. Mostly recreations of famous European
makers Bru, Steiner, Jumeau, Gaultier, and others. In the back
of the book there is ample reference information about Bisque Doll participants
in Japan.
This is a large format book, magnificently
printed on beautifully lacquered, thick museum catalogue stock.
Basic book text is Japanese, but picture captions
contain some English reference, though somewhat limited.
