The postcards cover the period 1900-30, mainly. Informative captions accompany the high quality reproduced views. Shows those old names such as Newbury's at Old Square, Newey's Motor Garage at Station St, Ten Acres & Stirchley Co-op, City Arcade, Market Hall, Bull Ring. Old fashioned butchers shops with the meat hanging outside (imagine that today!), Dairies, bakeries, newsagents, rows of old shops at Moat Row, Harborne, Hall Green, Erdington, Acocks Green etc. A fascinating read!
