Old Small Heath a book by John Bick,  based upon his magnificent collection of postcards of the area he grew up in.  The book contains 49 pages containing 57 old postcard views of the popular Birmingham suburb of Small Heath.  The postcards cover the period 1900-40, mainly. Informative captions accompany the high quality reproduced views.  Includes views of Coventry Road; shops; railway station; tornado damage; tram depot; Grange Cinema; Victoria Park; bomb damage; Byron Road; Golden Hillock Road; Green Lane; other side streets, etc. A fascinating read!
