2 and 1/2 inches across,
1/2 inch deep

These tins have been in a bonded warehouse for 70 years,
although packed in boxes they have a little surface scratching on them
and a little rust on the edges of the lid, see photograph.
This is a generic photograph, the tin you will get is as good as this if not better.

The Polish inside has dried out with age and has shrunk
to about an inch and a half across,
can still be used (especially if you spit on it!).

GENERAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe people are basically good and want to help each other given the chance.
I also want my things to go to a good home where they are looked after and appreciated.

My basic philosophy is to describe all the defects and damage,

I never clean things, not because I'm lazy, more of a fear of ruining things by over cleaning.

I've got into a bit of a habit of starting at a low price.
That way the item finds it's own price - and you often get a bargain.
I don’t put reserves on things and never withdraw anything,
even if I’m making a loss (and I do sometimes!).

RETURNS POLICY
I have tried to describe this item honestly and to the best of my ability.
Should I have genuinely misrepresented this item,
I offer a full refund on return including postage costs.

PROBLEMS
If you have any problems about anything please get in touch rather than leave negative feedback.
There isn't a problem you'll have that I can't solve, and sometimes I might make a genuine mistake,
so don’t sit there feeling fed up, e-mail me. It is never my intention for you to feel stitched up.

If you have any questions regarding this particular item please ask them before bidding,
I have a project on at the moment and can’t always get to a computer every day,
please allow for this.

PAYMENT
I'm just learning, Paypal seems the quickest and most efficient way to pay,
then I can get things in the post sooner.
I'll accept any method of payment, e-mail me if you think there's a difficulty.
Cheques are good (but take longer) because I don’t pay Paypal’s charges
but if you send a cheque in dollars it costs me £6 sterling to bank it,
so please e-mail me first - thank you.

POST & PACKING
The postage is just over what the Post Office charge me,
I always send things airmail and they seem to get there quickly.
I will post within 48 hours of cleared payment AT THE LATEST,
very often it’s sooner than that.
In fact if you don't get the item in a few days -
SOMETHING WILL BE WRONG!
email me immediately so I can sort it out

I now get a proof of posting thingamajig from the post office every time.
I would expect a modest remuneration for dragging the stuff
through the wind, rain and snow and queuing for hours
to be sure it gets posted correctly.

I use recycled packaging where I can, but I do it well,
NOTHING I send out gets damaged in the post.
If you get a package that looks as though it’s been wrapped
by a 3 year old wearing boxing gloves - that’ll be me.
I only send out things recorded if asked for (and paid for).
Postal insurance available at cost, please ask.

COMBINING POSTAGE
Always happy to combine postage, if you pay the postage for the heaviest item,
and chop the postage on other items in half that should work for both of us.
