Limited edition. 4to. (11.25 x 8 inches). xxv + 546 pages with Addenda & Corrigenda & Appendix. Clean unmarked interior with no inscriptions. All pages are tightly bound in. Bound in sl rubbed original blue cloth, sl rubbed and bumped on extremities. Alphabetical arrangement of text under 'Authors' and 'Places'. LIMITED EDITION: 'Four hundred and fifty copies of this Edition have been printed for Subscribers, of which this is No. 257'. 'Issued to Subscribers' is stated on title page. A list of Subscribers at front. Some contemporary newspaper cuttings inserted at relevant sections.
