With the band there are songs of seaside jaunts, budget wine, supermarkets, amyl nitrate, and forest lynching: a sound akin to blur circa the eponymous album. On my own I'm in a post-folk mode, singing of travel, lost-love and musings in city parks.

At the moment the band and I are working on an album provisionally titled 'Festive Road'.

So far Bearos have released my 7" EP The State of Travel, my LP The Leafy Underground and my CD EP love; defenestrated. These records can be bought at bearos.co.uk.

My song Leeds For The Winter was played by John Peel's on his Radio One show, and songs from my autumnal debut The Leafy Underground have been play listed on national radio stations around the world. The song The Loop of Love, (Bentley Rhythm Ace featuring Ben Calvert), appears on the Bearos Christmas compilation Christmas Folk & All December's Bearness.
