Tip: I don't sell leather gloves because they are a bad idea. Sting pheromone builds up in the leather and is not easily removed. This can provoke a colony before you start. If you want to use gloves, use washing up gloves. They are not totally sting proof but you can often remove bees and sting before they penetrate the glove and a little bee venom helps build your immunity. They also allow more sensitive handling of the bees, sometimes getting stung at all can be a sign that you are doing it wrong or at the wrong time. Be slow and gentle with your bees and disturb them only when they are having a good, warm flying day. Busy bees are happy bees.
