This is a gorgeous piece of jewellery. It is a locket made from gold coloured metal with an inset beautifully painted portrait panel. This has a border enamelled in black in a Greek key design and the piece looks fabulous. There are  a couple of faint scratches to the portrait but nothing major and the hinge on the locket compartment is fine. The locket closes firmly. It measures 4cms by 3.5cms.
