Beautiful pair of Carved Horn Budgerigars / Parakeets

Mounted on a wooden base the bird on the left measures 7" high, the one on the right 8.5".

Sadly the right handed bird is loose on it's base and also has a missing eye, which I am sure can be replaced. The left hand bird is in perfect condition.

The work on these birds is very impressive, with each feather being detailed in it's carving. They are life-sized and make a super group.

Would make a lovely gift for a budgerigar fancier or a nice addition to a collection.
