Lovely Lavender Heather Caithness Posy Vase. Caithness Glass is known throughout the world for high quality paperweights and art glass. Since its inception in 1961 inspiration has been taken from the colours of the Scottish landscape - warm peaty tones, purple heather , golden sunsets, the grey blue of the lochs.
It is not difficult to see that this particular vase was inspired by the beautiful heathers, it is approximately four and a half inches (11.5 cm) high and a lovely example from the 1980's, in good condition with no cracks or chips. We are sorry that the postage costs are so high but this is a suprisingly weighty piece.
