Beautiful French Celluloid Baby Boy Doll in Old Outfit

Measures approx 17" long (he has bent legs though and is meant to be seated)

He is very striking with distinctive features.  He is wearing an assortment of old clothes, the cotton underwear and the woven wool overcoat and hat look like they may be his original, he is also wearing a knitted green dress which looks to be a little later.

He has a split to the join on one leg and a split to his collarbone area, also slight cracking lines on his head (see closeup photos).  His joints are all loose but he is intact.  Possibly some slight wear to his eye colouring and lips - though he looks good like this so am not sure if this is wear or intentional markings.  Some discolouration to the celluloid in places but otherwise undamaged.

The doll and outfit are uncleaned.  His clothes do have some areas of wear and smell musty.  There are holes in the wool great coat and hat. 

He is marked to the back of his neck with France 45 and what looks to be the indistict outline of possibly a cockerel or griffin bird type figure.  It is hard to make out and there are two blobs on each side of the mark.

He will be sent by a fully insured, signed-for and trackable postal service.
