On 17-May-08 at 18:14:23 BST, seller added the following information:This beautiful solid mahogany cutlery tray was amongst a consignment of items recently cleared from a large house in Rochester. Strangely enough, we found it in the shed full of old light fittings. As you can see, its in extraordinary condition and measures 16 1/4'' wide, 9 1/4'' in depth, and is 5 1/4'' tall including the handle. I've tried to add a picture which reveals the superb quality of the dovetailing on the corners as they are quite outstanding. I'm not an expert on this particular kind of thing and had a friend look at it. He reckons it is early victorian, possibly older, and was himself amazed at the condition. Its all solid wood, has stunning colour, and sits nice and evenly with no movement in any of the joints. This is a fine piece and whoever ends up with it will be extemely happy with what is a very good example of this particular kind of item. Postage and packaging on this is £7.85. Payment through paypal, personal cheque, or cash if you'd prefer to collect. Any questions, please ask away and I will try to answer right up until the listing ends. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding
