ATTRACTIVE DUTCH "FIGURAL"STERLING SILVER TEA CADDY SPOON
Unusually,it has both Continental hallmarks, which I think are Dutch,of a "lion with key above" the number 1 below and a maker's mark of "R over 133".
Also full English hallmarks for Sheffield 1898 and the maker's mark of "S B L".
Indicating that the piece was imported from HOLLAND and given the ENGLISH retailer's hallmarks prior to sale.
It is quite large, being 5.15 inches long, 1.9 inches across the bowl, with a cast medieval nobleman as a handle and nice engraving to the back of the bowl.
It is in excellent overall condition, with no damage, repair,or obvious signs of use.
A nice heavy piece of obvious quality, the buyer will not be disappointed.
