Beautiful 18th Cent Oak Mule Chest

 

Here we a really lovely 18th Cent oak mule chest. It is a beautiful colour and in nice original condition.

 

The front has three particularly attractive fielded panels with ogee shaped tops. Below are two oak lined drawers with pierced brass handles (of the correct period but replacements) and matching keyhole escutcheons.

 

At the top is a lifting lid with a nice moulded edge and forged iron hinges (again old but replacements)

 

This is a lovely piece of period oak furniture. The drawers are a bit wobbly and a narrow plank is missing from the base but considering it is around 250 years old it is in overall good condition.

 

The maximum dimensions are:

 

140cm (55“) wide

81cm (32”) high

54cm (21“) deep
