Waddington’s - Battle of the Little Big Horn Game – 1964 – Spare Figures + Flag + Board + unusual sticker on Box Lid. At a car boot sale recently I found this slightly tired example of the 1964 Waddington’s board game – Battle of the Little Big Horn. The box is a little tatty, and the rules are missing, as are a couple of the plastic figures. Rather than wait around and hope to find another incomplete game to make this one complete, I thought that someone else may well be looking for some figures to complete their own game. The base of the box lists the contents as follows. Three Mounted Indian Chiefs, three mounted, tomahawk-armed Indians, six Indians armed with rifles, General Custer, two officers, six men, and the regimental flag. The figures I have here (all in perfect clean and complete condition) are all six of the mounted Indians, five of the six standing Indians, General Custer and his two officers, five of the six men, and the Seventh Cavalry Flag. Which as you will see are all of the listed figures bar two. As for the rest of the game, the board is fine, some of the card inner packaging in the base of the box to keep the figures separate is missing, and the lid has one split corner. However, the lid is more interesting than usual because in the top left corner is a large sticker that reads See the great Battle of the Little Big Horn in the CINERAMA presentation “Custer of the West”. I would guess that this sticker would not have been applied to many of the games. Only for a certain amount of time and probably only in London. I am happy to send either the whole game, or just the figures / flag if you are only interested in those. If you want the figures and the board I will send the whole thing as the outer game box will protect the board. I have listed two different postal charges to reflect the different costs of the smaller or larger parcel, depending on your choice.
For the figures, postage in the UK is £1.50. Postage Worldwide is £2.
For the whole game, postage in the UK is £5. Postage Worldwide is £10.
