Payment

We offer several different payment options: Paypal is preferred, but you may also pay by debit card, credit card, cheque or postal order. You also have the option of paying by cash if you are collecting goods. To pay by card please call us on 0871 288 3271 during office hours with your card details. The card you are using must be registered to your ebay delivery address. If you prefer to send a cheque or postal order please make them payable to: Delightful UK and post promptly to: Delightful UK, 5 Crossley Mill, New Mill Road, Honley, Holmfirth, HD9 6QB. Cheques/Postal Orders must be received by us within 5 working days. Please note that items paid for by cheque will not be despatched until payment has cleared.  This also applies to some forms of paypal payments. You will receive feedback from us as soon as cleared payment has been received.  If you wish to collect your goods, please call 0871 288 3271 to pre arrange a collection time to avoid a wasted journey.  If collecting, you can either checkout and pay via ebay as normal (selecting the collection option) or pay cash on collection.

Despatch Time

All items have a handling time of 1-2 working days (ie Monday to Friday - excluding Bank Holidays).  For example, if you buy on a Friday, then the item is likely to be despatched on the following Monday.  However, on many occasions, items are despatched the same working day. Please note, that we will not despatch items until your payment has cleared. You will normally receive our feedback as soon as cleared payment has been received. You will also receive an automated e-mail when your order has been processed and the despatch note has been sent for picking. If you have paid by paypal or by cheque, please double check that your payment has cleared before chasing delivery of your item.

Shipping

Smaller items (weighing 1kg or less) are despatched Royal Mail Second Class Post.  Heavier items will be sent by either Royal Mail First Class Post or by Courier as size/weight dictates.  We want to ensure that your buying experience is as quick, easy and as cost effective as possible. Please allow a reasonable amount of time before chasing your delivery. For example, for smaller items (under 1kg), allow for the 1-2 working days handling time in addition to three working days for 2nd class mail delivery. Before contacting us - please check to see if we have left feedback for you. If not, then this normally indicates that your payment has not yet cleared.  If you receive an "Unable to Deliver" card from a courier or from the post office, please follow the instructions promptly and carefully.  Items which are lost in post will be replaced after the required waiting time dictated by the royal mail or courier service. Buyers wishing to have a refund instead of a replacement will be refunded in full when compensation payment has been made by carrier.

P&P Charge

 Please note that our p&p charge includes: POSTAGE COST - including insurance cover (up to £34.00 for items sent with post office, £75 for items sent with courier or higher, if previously agreed, for more valuable items),  VAT (even though post office don't charge us vat, we have to add vat on to the cost when we charge a third party and send the revenue to the vat man - if you know different please let us know), PACKAGING COSTS - although we do attempt not to use excessive packaging to reduce the environmental impact, & HANDLING CHARGE - ie time spent picking, packing, labelling, collating proof of postings, delivering & queuing at the Post Office etc. We have been unable to find any staff willing to do this for nothing!  The p&p price is clearly listed on each item.  If, for any reason, you are not happy with the charge stated, please buy elsewhere. As stated in ebay policy: Sellers are allowed to include these charges within p&p. Ebay do not take our charge for p&p into account when charging their final value fee, so including a fair price for handling within p&p enables us to keep our overall cost lower to you.
