Baritone Horn “Imperial” by Boosey and Hawkes

Despite being of some age, this is a fine, players instrument in very good condition and well cared for - it makes an extremely good sound.

I bought it for my eldest son three years ago – despite the band he was in winning the North Wales Junior Brass Band competition, he didn’t persevere with the instrument and it was played for less than a year after my acquiring it.

At the time it was bought, it had just been overhauled by Bob Young of Artisan Technic …. and as it didn’t have much use subsequently, and was very well cared for, I would expect it to still be in an as overhauled state – certainly it still plays well and the valves have negligible play and move smoothly and freely. It’s had a couple of years rest in the attic and I’d now like it to go to a player again and see some use, so offered with NO reserve.

Anyone local would be very welcome to visit, inspect and try before bidding.

The case, which has a little wear internally, but which is still serviceable, is included.

Packing (substantially boxed and well cushioned with bubble wrap) and postage will be £22.00. Insurance, which I seriously recommend is in addition to this, and would be at the buyers cost - but local pick up very welcome.
