Banam Kit car - Audi TT look a like built on a 1.4 GTI 'H' Reg Metro.  The engine runs when petrol is pored down the carburetor but then stops?

I have all lights, glass, seats, rubbers and some trim,  no carpets.  V5 document present.  Must be trailered away.
