Bahtinov focus mask Meade 10 inch or 250mm Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes
 
this includes the :  lx90, lx200, lx10 & lx50

The image on the left will take about 1 minute to achieve with your new mask and will mean you spend more time imaging photons rather than focussing them

3mm thick matt black acrylic Perspex so no reflective light
light weight so you wont loose balance on your scopes
Precision laser cut
M5 removable black plastic bolts to hang the mask over the front of your scope, these are removable for easy storage of your mask after focusing
standard sizes available from stock

Unlike a Hartmann Mask which provides no visual cues on the direction of travel needed for focusing, A Bahtinov mask  clearly shows the direction of travel needed to achieve focus. Also, a Hartmann mask doesn't provide the focus precision of a Bahtinov mask . The pattern displayed in a Hartmann just gets slightly more in focus, which means the true focus may be off by a significant degree. The stay focused mask shows you exactly where the perfect focus point is every time, regardless of seeing conditions. This unique design also allows more light gathering than a Hartmann mask allowing you to focus on a much dimmer star.
Special sizes are also available, focal lengths etc (3/4 week turn around)
