This listing is for a really great and elusive Baccarat Rose Tiente Berger Lamp in, well, what has come to be know as the Swirl pattern.
I estimate this piece was made ca. 1900-1920s but cannot say for certain. The Berger font and wick are brand new, never used only opened to make sure it fit on the lamp, which was never used by us.
The top fits perfectly with no loose feeling or wiggle.
Purpose of a Berger Lamp is to help purify the air in a room, especially when one is ill with a cold or the flu. Who knows if they work or not...I will say they can help with odors without masking the odor, rather it seems to just burn the odor out of the room. If that makes any sense what-so-ever. Just trying my best to describe the purpose.

| Condition: |
The condition of this piece very good. It does have a few small flakes, as shown, on the ground portion of the top where the Berger insert sits. Other than that it loos as if it saw little to no use in it's life. Beyond the mentioned and shown flakes there are no other chips, cracks, scratches, repairs or restorations.
All of our items come from a smoke-free, pet-free home...even though we love the puppy dawgs. And the kitties too...but just the good kitties not the naughty kitties. |

I cannot say with any degree of certainty, when this piece might have been made. It could have been made during any of the well defined periods from the Aesthetic Era thru the Art Nouveau period and Victorian Era and maybe even until maybe the 1920s Art Deco Era. But were I to be forced to guess, my instinct would say somewhere ca. 1900-1920s.

This lamp stands about 5-7/8" tall with cover in place and about 4-1/2" with the cover removed. At the widest point it's about 2-7/8" in diameter with the base (bottom rim) about 2" in diameter.

As needed, all items are double boxed. We offer this at no additional cost to our buyers.
We take the extra steps to ensure your items arrive safe and sound. We do this because we feel it is up to the SELLER to deliver your items in the same condition as when you won them. We cannot say this strongly enough...it is wrong for a seller to pack as if the insurance if there to make up for poor packing. We use new packing materials, though the occasional box or peanuts is/are recycled.
Just know your new found goodie will be packed with extreme care. We stand behind our packing should anything ever happen during shipping. Should damage happen during shipping, please email or call right away and we will work with you to address the issue. These things can happen (well, just once in over 9-years selling online), but it is not your fault as they buyer...
We also prepare each item for shipping when we list it for sale on eBay (not to worry we take lots of pictures.) This now makes it more possible to do our best to provide Same Day Shipping if you pay using PayPal (this excludes e-check payments as they take several days to clear.)

BIDDING:

RETURN POLICY:
We really want you to be happy with your purchase. All items are listed as-found. We fully inspect all items disclosing any condition issues discovered. However, it is normally not possible to mention every imperfection that occurred during manufacturing or use, such as straw marks, bubbles, swirls, minute scratches, color variances, small scratches or smudges, etc, etc! These are inherent to antique glassware, collectibles, modern dolls, etc. and are simply part of collecting. Hidden factory defects or flaws on new items are handled between the buyer and the manufacturer. If there are any questions/concerns from the bidder we will try to answer such questions to the best of our ability. We will respond to all e-mails in a timely manner. It is our goal to always maintain good relations with bidders and to earn your repeat business. We will accept returns-for-refund under the following circumstances:
- We are notified by the buyer within 3 days of item being received.
- We have COMMUNICATED via phone and/or e-mail concerning the desire to obtain a refund, and the reason(s) for such a request. Sorry but, any items returned without written authorization, from us, will be refused
- We AGREE to the item's return-for-refund.
- Item(s) still retains our original tag AND our invisible identification mark when returned item(s) is/are received by us. Paper items are handled differently so don't worry about any sticky labels or writing being placed on your item by us. - If the return is authorized, the item must properly packaged and fully insured for the return, with bidder paying S/H/I.
