This great Baccarat Set was put together by and bought from Geary's Beverly Hills (one of the leading design stores in Beverly Hills) for Easter in the early 1990's by Mr Rothschild. Back then the set cost hundreds of dollars. I thought about splitting it up because the this Egg alone brings a much higher price than my listing price. But, I've opted to keep the set as it was sold.
The set consists of one Baccarat Crystal Seated Bunny (or rabbit) and one Baccarat Beveled top clear egg.
PLUS: The Egg rests on a Sterling round stand that weighs over 2 ounces, it's marked .925 and has some other hallmarks that I do not know.
The Bunny & Egg rest on 5 inch by 5 inch absolute black marble stand (with beveled edge).
This black marble stand retains it's original Geary's gold sticker.
At my price feel free to break up the set keep the one you like and give the other away!

I strive for a great Ebay experience for my buyers as well as for me. My listings are true auctions with really low prices, no reserves and 100% guaranteed to be authentic. Unless noted my listings are from the collection of Joel Rothschild, award winning writer (search Joel Rothschild). I'm one of his assistants. Winning Bidders can receive a signed letter of provenance & a signed copy of one of his book, if requested before shipment. If you are in the Beverly Hills area, feel free to preview anything. I offer a 10% discount for any larger item that is picked up.
Markings: fully marked as expected
Bunny: script Baccarat on lower front, hallmark on bottom.
Egg: Baccarat Hallmark on Bottom.
Sterling Stand: .925 and other Hallmarks (I don't know these)
The Marble Stand: has original Geary's Beverly Hills Tag attached.
Condition: Near Mint to MINT not flaws or damage whatsoever: to Bunny, Egg or sterling. But there is some wear to bottom of marble base. I think that's to be expected and saved the Baccarat from having any wear to their bottom.
Here's what my grading terms mean:
Mint =100% perfect NIB condition bought but never used by Mr.Rothschild
Near Mint =Almost perfect, any imperfections will be minor as it was very gentle used.
Good =The item will have had use, show minor imperfections or other signs of wear. Good items will only be listed when historically important or rare objects. Their imperfections will be precisely described to the best of my ability. Otherwise: We prefer to donate flawed, damaged, worn or distressed items.
I examine everything carefully to describe to the best of my ability. I am not an expert. When selling antiques or used items & something I see as ‘normal aging’, someone else may see as a flaw. It 's not possible to point out every detail on every item, but, I will do my very best. If you are unclear about quality, age or condition of any of any items. Please ask me before bidding.
Return Policy: If a package is delivered & the box is damaged, please do not accept the package. Refuse it & contact me immediately. If after receiving the item & you feel it is not as described, notify me within 48 hours after receiving the item. Please retain all original packing material and box. The buyer MUST initiate the return within 3 days of receipt of item for a refund of purchase price. I do not accept returns just because the item is not what you wanted or you changed your mind. It has to be shown that the item is not as described. Buyer pays all return shipping charges. All items returned must be sent via traceable carrier.

Your selections will be well packaged for security and mailed within 2 business days. I strive to provide 5 Star Service and earn Positive Feedback. I don't charge for my time or materials just US Postal fees & work hard to keep them low. International please contact me before bidding. Please note: Free Shipping is USA only! Please reflect my efforts in your feedback.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF COUNTERFEITS & REPORT DISHONEST SELLERS: Honest Sellers will offer a guarantee & reference where the item was originally purchased.
High-end companies never sell close outs or distribute via Ebay. It's unlikely that any seller will have even one "Brand New" or "NIB" luxury item! A seller routinely having several of the same type item and especially NIB is your red flag that the item is counterfeit.
ASK sellers where and when was it purchase, can they provide the original receipt? Not all counterfeits come from the Orient & routinely dealers with good rankings are selling counterfeits here! Do an online search for Tiffany, Rolex or Hermes Replica & you will understand the enormous problem. Fine crystal and luxury items marking are a good way to spot a fake. Check the quality & the location of the markings. Example: Baccarat is often signed twice in the same precise locations. Items signed differently or poor quality markings are indicators of fakes. Flaws top companies do not sell items that are flawed. If that Hermes bag has odd stitching it's a fake, if that Lalique has an air bubble or wave it's a fake. Be careful, the counterfeit's are getting better to keep up with the demand.
