When you can’t afford to use anything but the best to process your digital broadcast services, the DSPXtra-HD is your only choice. And, at a price lower than most “high-end” processors dedicated to HD Radio main and multicast channels, DAB, DRM and Internet streaming.

No other digital broadcast processor, at any price, has both a BW Broadcast six-band limiter and an integrated Ariane RMS leveller. In addition, the DSPXtra-HD features BW Broadcast’s proprietary bit-rate optimized, look-ahead final limiting to keep your station’s sound consist and artefact free.

The DSPXtra-HD harnesses the power of 20 DSPs to give you a competitive edge to build listenership and revenue. The four-band gated AGC, four-band program-dependent limiter, along with parametric and shelf bass enhancement, help you achieve the tailored sound and loudness needed to make your station distinctive.

BW Broadcast’s proven presets, as well as intuitive local and remote interfaces help you get your DSPXtra-HD on air fast. Front panel LED audio metering and front panel USB interface aid setup and operation. As with all BW Broadcast HD processors, the DSPXtra-HD has a real-time clock for preset scheduling, preset A/B switching, graphic LCD display, serial and TCP/IP remote control interfaces, and both analogue and AES/EBU digital inputs/outputs with configurable silence switching.

The BW Broadcast DSPX Series presents a carefully developed series of processors, with a version designed to exactly meet your needs and budget. For stations with less intensive processing requirements or tighter budgets, consider the BW Broadcast DSPX-HD and DSPXmini-HD.
