I USE DOCUMENT WALLETS SO THE ADDRESS IS NOT TORN OFF ALONG WITH A SECURELY TAPED RETURN ADDRESS ON THE BACK. THE INVOICE YOU RECEIVE NEEDS PAPER AND INK AND SO DOES MY COPY FOR THE REVENUE TOO. MORE IMPORTANTLY WITH 4 LOCAL POST OFFICE CLOSURES, THE JOURNEY TO AND FROM TO POST BOTH IN TIME AND FUEL.

U.K. bidder/buyers:  Payment can be made by PAYPAL and debit/credit cards, cheques drawn on U.K. bank accounts made payable to Mrs M Smith as well as U.K. Postal Orders crossed/uncrossed, please do not send cash in the post I cannot guarantee I will receive it.

I try to give as full a description as possible, I strive to ensure that it is as accurate as I can make it but I am human and may miss something. Where an item is described as used or vintage, please do not expect it to be as new, check my feedback for accuracy and fair trading. Please be aware that when trying to match existing fabrics you may have, that the colours will have aged with time, exposure to daylight, laundering/dry cleaning and general wear. If there is a discrepancy between measurements in the title or between the item specifics box and the items description box, please e mail me before bidding to check on which measurement is correct. Also digital cameras/monitors even with high resolutions do not always reproduce 100% accurate colours, I do try to point out any differences from that of the fabric, but my interpretation of colour may be different from your own. If in doubt, please refrain from bidding as I do not sell on approval, I cannot refund your money if you do not like the item once bought. My home is smoke free but we do have a rescued cat, called Harry.

REFUNDS

I do consider refunds within 7 days of auction end date, once item has been returned to me untainted by pets or cigarette smoke and is in the condition in which it was sent i.e. in an immediately relistable condition to sell, or if something has been MISDESCRIBED  in the listing , but do not cover return postage. PLEASE READ DESCRIPTIONS CARFULLY AND LOOK AT THE PICTURE PROVIDED, ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. IF IN DOUBT PLEASE REFRAIN FROM BIDDING ON THE ITEM FEEDBACK.

I leave feedback for you once you leave feedback for me, this is one way that I know you have received the item and also it gives other bidders an idea of what to expect from me as a trader on e-Bay. Unfortunately due to the number of bidders using extremely creative means NOT to pay, I will start an unpaid item dispute, leave negative feedback and block the defaulting bidder.

ITEMS LOST IN THE POST/DAMAGED ONCE POSTED.

I refunded buyers for items lost in the post myself in the past but these have become more frequent and now the post office have said that they cannot accept multiple claims from one address. It is with regret that I will now supply the receipt to a buyer if the item does not arrive or is damaged in the post.
