Description
The complete second series which follows the trials and tribulations of a married, middle class woman of the 70s. Rita is married to a dentist and she has two teenage boys. She yearns for excitement to liven up her mundane existence and discovers this in the form of Leonard, a businessman she meets one day. Their friendship causes her concern and her life is easily muddled. From the classic television comedy series.

Ria is a seemingly happily married mother of two teenage sons. Her husband is the lugubrious dentist Ben. His hobby is collecting butterflies, although he seems to spend most of his time arguing with their sons; the thoughtful Russell and the ever cynical Adam.

After 19 years of marriage Ria believes that everyone is taking her for granted and yearns for just a little excitement. Then one day she bumps into a handsome businessman Leonard, whom she dreams will sweep her off her feet.

Originally broadcast on BBC1 in 1979 this DVD features the entire second series of Carla Lane's wonderful comedy plus the Christmas Special.
