Great vintage Burton Tailored single breasted, shawl collared, mod style dinner suit. Made in black worsted wool with the collar in satin.

Measurements:

Jacket: Armpit to Armpit: 22.5" 57cm. Armpit to Cuff: 18" 45.5cm. Shoulder seam to Cuff: 25.5" 65cm. Shoulder to Shoulder: 19" 48.5cm. Length from the top of collar to the hem: 31.5" 78.5cm.  Waist from side to side flat: 20.5" 52cm.

Details: One button fastening, four buttons at cuffs, no vents. One pocket to the lining. Bound pockets and a welt pocket to the front.

Trousers: Waist: 32" 89cm. Extra fabric at back waist: none, the back waist has a 1" 2.5 additional piece. Inside leg: 30.5" 77.5cm. Outside leg: 39.5" 100.5cm. Extra fabric at hem: 2" 5cm, the total hem turning is 3.5" 9cm as the trousers have been shortened. Hem width: 8" 20.5cm.

Details: Double inverted pleats at the front. in seam side pockets. One pocket to the back. Button and tab side waist adjusters.  Buttons for braces on the inside waist.  Braided outside leg seam. four button fly.

Condition: Very good overall. Clean.  Slight wear to the back neck of the collar. Slight wear marks to the under arms and cuff opening of the sleeve lining. Two extremely small snags to the right collar edge, barely noticeable.  The inside waist of the trousers is worm and has wear marks.
